SUMMARY
This week; internet Governance is dominated by russian government preparing draft amendment on internet regulation and US sen Ted Cruz circulating a new bill that would prevent the IANA transition without congress approval while the ICANN Board announces the adoption of the new ICANN bylaws which reflect changes made as a result of the IANA Stewardship transition package proposals. Futhemore, Reuters reports that The U.S. Federal Reserve has detected over 50 cyber breaches between 2011 and 2015, with several incidents suspected of "espionage"; while council of Europe calls governments of the European Union members for more freedom of expression and acces to information. Also in Europe, Commission together with tech giants like Facbook unveil a code of conduct to combat online illegal hate speech. In Brazil, Internet expert Demi Gestchko advocate to not change Marco Civil da Internet or Brazil Internet bill of rigths which is an achievement of brazilian society according to him.
As for event, we note the ongoing Africa Internet Summit in Gaborone, Botswana; ITU Council 2016 and Domaining Europe in the Netherlands.
