The resolution on ICTs for development was negotiated and an outcome text is ready for adoption on the next sitting of the UN General Assembly. I do not expect any further changes to it. I did not see any definitive language regarding management of critical internet resources
which the IGF2010 also left at the same place it was before.
Some pointers from the resolution:
# There is now an extricable link between broadband and connectivity especially in developing countries.
# Impediments faced by developing countries include insufficient capacity (Diplo), resources, infrastructure, etc - one of the solutions to that is technological transfer
# Gender divide is an emerging issue
