RÉSUMÉ

Cette semaine, le Brésil a lancé une consultation publique sur la modernisation de la gouvernance de l'internet dans le pays avec une forte opposition de la société civile.

Marcus Hutchins, qui a stoppé la propogation de Wannacry, arrêté à l'aéroport de Las Vegas la semaine dernière, a été accusé "d'avoir aidé à créer et à distribuer "le cheval de Troie bancaire Kronos" destiné à voler des fonds provenant de comptes bancaires en ligne entre Juillet 2014 et juillet 2015".
Sur les infrastructures, le projet de déploiement du premier câble de télécommunication sous-marin reliant l'Afrique à l'Amérique du Sud a été lancé dans la capitale angolaise, Luanda. Le projet devrait être terminé d'ici à mi 2018.
Sur l'accès, les autorités de la République démocratique du Congo ont ordonné aux entreprises de télécommunications de ralentir la capacité d'Internet pour les contenus des réseaux sociaux tels que les images et les vidéos.
Sur le commerce électronique, la banque russe Sberbank et la société Internet Yandex ont signé un contrat non contraignant pour un partenariat visant à développer un écosystème de commerce électronique, ont annoncé mercredi les deux entreprises dans un communiqué.
En ce qui concerne la censure, la Chine a lancé une contrôle renforcé sur Internet pour empêcher les utilisateurs de contourner le «Great Firewall» du pays, «un système de censure sophistiqué qui bloque Facebook, Twitter et YouTube, entre autres sites». En outre, la Chine a lancé une enquête sur les violations multiples dans les services d'informations gérés par Tencent; Baidu et Weibo.
En matière de protection des données, le gouvernement britannique a publié sa déclaration d'intention concernant les lois de protection des données du pays qui s'harmoniseront avec le prochain règlement général sur la protection des données de l'UE. En outre, TalkTalk a reçu une autre amende pour mauvaise prise en charge des données des clients, 10 mois après avoir été sanctionné d'une amende de £ 400,000.
Sur l'Internet des objets, un nouveau sondage réalisé par Cisco a révéle qu'un tiers de tous les projets IoT achevés n'étaient pas considérés comme un succès.

This week, Brazilian telecom authorities launched a public consultation on potential updates and modernization of the country's internet governance framework with strong opposition from Civil Society.

On e-commerce, Russia's largest lender Sberbank and Internet company Yandex signed a non-binding contract to form a joint venture to develop an e-commerce ecosystem, the companies said in a statement Wednesday.
China has launched an internet crackdown to stop users bypassing the country's "Great Firewall", "a sophisticated censorship system that blocks Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, among other sites". Also, China’s online watchdog has launched an investigation into reports of multiple violations at news services run by Tencent; Baidu and Weibo, as the government continues to tighten scrutiny over internet content.
The British government has published its statement of intent regarding the country’s data protection laws wich will align with the EU's forthcoming General Data Protection Regulation. Otherwise, TalkTalk has been issued with another fine for failing to look after customers’ data, 10 months after being hit with a record fine of £400,000.
