RESUME
Cette semaine, la cyberpolitique a relativement marqué la gouvernance internet avec la Chine qui invite les entreprises étrangères à se joindre au comité du gouvernement mis en place pour apaiser les inquiétudes étrangères sur sa politique de cybersécurité au moment ou l'Iran annonce le lancement de son premier "réseau national de données" (national data network). A propos de la Neutralité du Net, le Régulateur Européen des Communications Electroniques (ORECE), a publié de nouvelles lignes directrices sur la neutralité du net pour assurer un accès Internet ouvert à tous. Ceci est la dernière étape d'un processus qui a duré trois ans pour l'adoption de la législation sur la neutralité du net dans l'Union européenne. Concernant la protection des données, plus de 100 entreprises américaines ont adhéré au Privacy Shield leur permettant de recevoir des données personnelles en conformité avec les normes de l'Union Européenne.
Concernant ICANN, le comité de nomination 2016 a annoncé l'élection de sept membres au conseil d'administration.
En ce qui concerne les événements, nous notons AfPIF 2016 à Dar es Salaam, en Tanzanie, où une nouvelle étude d'Internet Society révèle : "l'accès et la disponibilité d'Internet ne sont pas suffisant pour mettre les individus en ligne". Aussi, la deuxième édition du séminaire sur la gouvernance de l'internet en Afrique francophone s'est tenue cette semaine à Ouagadougou au Burkina Faso.

SUMMARY
This week, cyberpolitics, geopolitics as China reportedly allows foreign technology companies to join a key government committee in an effort to ease foreign concerns over its cybersecurity policies while Iran announce launch of its first ever national data network. On Net neutrality, European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC), has published new net neutrality guidelines to ensure open internet access for all. This is the final stage in the three-year process of adopting net neutrality legislation in the European Union. On data protection, More than 100 US companies have signed the EU-US Privacy Shield deal enabling them to receive personal data from the bloc in compliance with EU standards, the European Commission said in a statement on Thursday.
Reagrding ICANN, the ICANN 2016 Nominating Committee has announced its selections for seven leadership positions.
As for events, we note the African Peering and Interconnection forum in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania where a new Internet Society study says "Internet access and availability are not enough to get people online". Also, we have the second french african countries school in Internet Governance in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
