RESUME
Cette semaine, l'actualité de la gouvernance mondiale internet est marquée principalement par l'audition au sénat américain sur la transition IANA; l'Union Européenne qui envisage de fournir gratuitement du WI-FI dans toutes les villes de l'UE d'ici 2020 et le déploiement de la 5G en 2025. De plus, la Commission Européenne a formulé des propositions sur la modernisation du droit d'auteur pour accroître la diversité culturelle en Europe et les contenus en ligne. En ce qui concerne les événements, nous notons la réunion des experts de l'Union Africaine sur la gouvernance de l'Internet à Bamako, APTLD 70 à Bangkok. SUMMARY
This week, US senate judiciary subcommettee hearing on IANA transition; European Union planning to provide free WI-FI in every EU town by 2020 and 5G deployment by 2025 are among most commented news on Internet Governance landscape. Also, European Commission has set out proposals on copyright modernisation to increase cultural diversity and online content availability in Europe.
