RESUME

Cette semaine, Le Sénat américain a promis mercredi une enquête approfondie sur les liens directs entre la Russie et le républicain Donald Trump lors de sa course pour la Maison-Blanche et a averti que la Russie concocterait le même plan pour les élections françaises. A propos de la protection de la vie privée et des données, le Congres américain a voté mardi une loi pour permettre aux fournisseurs de services Internet de vendre des informations sur l'historique de navigation des consommateurs sans leur connaissance ou leur consentement. Au demeurant, un guide gratuit pour aider les organismes de bienfaisance à comprendre le Guide Général sur la Protection Des Données et se conformer à la loi a été publié en Europe. Sur le cryptage; après l'attaque de Londres, la Commission européenne proposera de nouvelles mesures en juin pour faciliter l'accès de la police aux données codées des applications de messagerie instantanée. De plus, aux Nations Unies, Boris Johnson a rappelé aux Réseaux sociaux leur «responsabilité» sur le rôle de l'Information dans la lutte contre l'extrémisme.  En ce qui concerne l'ICANN, Nous notons la publication du rapport sur ICANN 58.

 A propos des événements et conférences Internet, nous notons Rightscon 2017 à Bruxelles où Internet Society a exprimé aujourd'hui son engagement pour un Internet pour tous, en réponse au nombre croissant de décisions gouvernementales visant à fermer temporairement ou à restreindre l'accès aux services Internet. Nous avons aussi IETF 98 à Chicago, où Alissa Cooper a été nommée nouvelle présidente de l'IETF. Notons aussi la tenue de la conférence WACREN 2017 à Abidjan.

Moreover, a free guide to help charities understand GDPR and comply with data protection law has been published in Europe. "On encryption; after London attack, the European Commission will propose new measures in June to facilitate police access to encoded data of the instant messaging applications.
