“Internet Governance Diplomacy” workshop at Ghana’s IDLELO 4 conference

Are you planning to attend the Fourth African Conference on FOSS and the Digital Commons (IDLELO 4), in Accra, Ghana, on May 17-21? Are you a professional from Africa, the Caribbean or the Pacific?

Then you can’t miss out on Diplo’s “Internet Governance Diplomacy” pre-conference workshop.

The workshop, an ideal prequel to the open source conference, provides a window into the multidisciplinary field of Internet Governance, the international and regional processes, and the effects of IG issues on national and regional policies.

The workshop will take place at the conference venue, the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (AITI-KACE), on May 13-14. Local costs for participating in the workshop will be covered by the organisers (international travel costs are to be paid by the participant or sending institution).

“Internet Governance Diplomacy” is part of a series of activities organised under the Capacity Development in ICT Policy and Internet Governance for Africa – Caribbean – Pacific (ACP) programme of DiploFoundation, with support of the European Commission and Secretariat of the ACP Group of States.
Participation is limited to the first 20 applicants, so hurry up! Send an e-mail with your full name, country of residence, institution and position to acpinfo@diplomacy.edu by April 30.
