SUMMARY

In U.S, Congressional Democrats introduced legislation on Wednesday that would provide more than $1 billion to boost cyber security of U.S. voting systems. Cette semaine, les États-Unis et le Royaume-Uni ont blâmé l'armée russe pour l'attaque de malware NotPetya, qui a frappé les grandes entreprises et les systèmes gouvernementaux à travers le monde en juin 2017.
Aux Etats-Unis, les Démocrates au Congrès ont présenté mercredi une loi pour une meilleure cybersécurité des systèmes électoraux américains avec une enveloppe de plus d'un milliard de dollars. De plus, le secrétaire d'État, Rex Tillerson, veut créer un nouveau «cyber bureau» pour établir des relations avec les gouvernements étrangers et coordonner les priorités internationales en matière de cybersécurité.
L'Union européenne a pris des mesures actives pour assurer la fluidité des échanges de données entre les pays membres et le reste du monde, tout en garantissant la confidentialité des utilisateurs. Le Collège européen de sécurité et de défense lancera en septembre une cyber-plateforme pour coordonner l'éducation, la formation, l'évaluation et les exercices (ETEE) dans le domaine de la cyber-sécurité / défense à travers l'Europe. Le Parlement a approuvé des règles qui mettent fin au géoblocage sur les sites de commerce électronique en Europe.
Les enfants sont exploités sexuellement, victimes de la traite et vendus en ligne à une échelle sans précédent à l'heure ou les progrès technologiques permettent aux agresseurs de cibler les victimes en toute impunité, a annoncé mercredi une coalition de gouvernements, d'organisations caritatives et de sociétés technologiques.
YouTube et Instagram sont sous la coup d'un bloquage par les fournisseurs d'accès Internet russes à la suite d'une confrontation entre l'un des hommes d'affaires les plus riches du pays et un leader de l'opposition.
Les plates-formes en ligne devraient supprimer les messages promouvant le terrorisme dans l'heure suivant la réception des plaintes, selon un projet de document de la Commission européenne qui a été divulgué mardi 13 février.
