This week, cybersecurity on Internet Governance headlines as Moscow and Washington are reportedly in talks to create a joint cyber security working group, Russia's RIA news agency reported today. In the United States, in an effort to reorganize the State Department, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will reportedly shut down an office that coordinates cyber and technology issues with other nations. The FBI on Monday warned parents of privacy and safety risks from children's toys connected to the internet. In Europe, the European Commission has reportedly made progress over the past year in addressing hybrid threats, including non-conventional methods such as cyber attacks or disinformation.

On  data protection, in order to maintain data flows with Europe, The UK must try to influence data rules made in Brussels after Brexit, according to reports. On "Right to be forgotten", France's highest administrative court has asked the Court of Justice of the European Union to consider whether Google must delist certain search results globally. On Brand Protection Online, the proliferation of online counterfeiting is increasing and threatening any type of brand protection that companies employ.
On technical standards, the IETF with the publication of RFC8200 announced that the Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) had become the latest Internet Standard.
On domain name, an arbitration panel has given Amazon.com Inc. another chance to secure the .amazon internet domain it has been fighting for since 2014.
On Artificial Intelligence, China unveiled a national artificial intelligence (AI) development plan on Thursday, and said it expects the value of its core AI industries to exceed 150 billion yuan by 2020 and 400 billion yuan ($59.07 billion) by 2025.
On freedom of expression, Russia has introduced significant restrictions to online speech and invasive surveillance of online activity and prosecutes critics under the guise of fighting extremism, Human Rights Watch said in a report released today.
On internet outage, The Federal Government of Somalia in collaboration with the owner of the fiber-optic cable has successfully restored Internet and data services to South and Central Somalia.
On July 13, Yandex (YNDX), the Russian internet company, revealed it would combine with Uber (UBER) its Taxi business into the entity NewCo.

Cette semaine, la cybersécurité revient à la UNE des titres sur la gouvernance d'Internet. En effet, ce Vendredi, nous apprenons que Moscou et Washington seraient sur la création d'un groupe de travail sur la cybersécurité, a annoncé l'agence de presse russe RIA. Aux États-Unis, dans le but de réorganiser le Département d'Etat, le secrétaire d'Etat Rex Tillerson aurait fermé un bureau qui coordonnerait les problèmes de cybersécurité et technologie avec d'autres pays. Le FBI a informé Lundi les parents des risques liés à la vie privée et à la sécurité liés aux jouets pour enfants connectés à Internet. En Europe, la Commission européenne a fait des progrès au cours de l'année écoulée pour faire face aux menaces hybrides, y compris les méthodes non conventionnelles telles que les cyber-crises ou la désinformation.
En matière de protection des données, afin de maintenir les flux de données avec l'Europe, le Royaume-Uni doit essayer d'influencer les règles de données établies à Bruxelles après Brexit, d'après les rapports. A props "Du Droit à l'oubli numérique", le tribunal administratif le plus élevé de la France a demandé à la Cour de justice de l'Union européenne d'examiner si Google doit supprimer certains résultats de recherche. En ce qui concerne la contrefaçon, la prolifération de la contrefaçon en ligne augmente et menace les protections de marque.
En ce qui concerne les normes techniques, l'IETF avec la publication de RFC8200 a annoncé que le protocole Internet version 6 (IPv6) était devenu le dernier standard Internet.
Sur les noms de domaine, un panel d'arbitrage a donné à Amazon.com Inc. une autre chance de sécuriser le domaine Internet .amazon.
Sur l'Intelligence Artificielle, la Chine a dévoilé un plan national de développement de l'intelligence artificielle (AI) jeudi et a déclaré qu'elle s'attend à ce que la valeur de ses industries centrales d'IA dépasse 150 milliards de yuans d'ici 2020 et 400 milliards de yuans (59,07 milliards de dollars) d'ici 2025.
En ce qui concerne la liberté d'expression, la Russie a introduit des restrictions importantes sous le couvert de la lutte contre l'extrémisme, a déclaré Human Rights Watch dans un rapport publié aujourd'hui.
