In Indian context ... the Music and Photos have become important... however the mobile internet is still not very popular...

the use of bluetooth is very popular for sharing the same...

The cost Mobile internet is still a big barrier... today our provide controlled portals but open access is still not in reach of our youngsters...SMS/MMS is still a dominant communication medium...

We need develop positive attitudes and uses of mobile devices...for Content providers and Device manufacturers..

A legislator doesnot want to legislate... it is better to self-regulate...

Legislation can be counter productive...since predators can use to banned lists...Example in Finland...

We do need more transperency on Industry standard... Byron Review... on Child Avertisement to Child content online...

The Industry is designing the technologies...to take the child protection agenda...

Kidsweek... voices of the children used to protection...using technology...by the children and young children...

Giving Free Blackberry to at risk children... RIM... Alert relavent authorioties, for taking pics, videos and sound...

There is a need to highten the awareness on the legal and moral aspects of Mobile Internet enabled Child abuse in india...

Question - Ramkaran: what can we learn from past experiences on preventing child abuse...how can we help as industry...

Answer: John Carr -- UK had a large learning curve to evolve the Self Regulatary - Multi-Stake holder approach..to prevent Child Abuse..

Margret-MP -- India will leapfrog on the solutions...for these new challenges...
