DiploFoundation is a member of the Civil Society Coordination Group (CSCG), and I (Ginger) represent Diplo (you) in this group.

We have been asked for input into the selection of Civil Society representatives for the closing session of the IGF2014 in Istanbul. The time is short: recommendations must be made by 23:00 UTC Thursday August 21, after which the CSWG will select candidates to be submitted to the IGF Secretariat.

Istanbul IGF 2014 - Can YOU help please?

Last year in Bali the generosity and good will of the Diplo alumnae was really touching to see. In spite of the fact that none of us had funding from Diplo everyone rallied round to help.

Internet Fragmentation; The Newest Threat to the Internet?

 

The open and unified Internet we enjoy today started as a US government project in the late 1960’s.

The US government sponsored the development of the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency Network (DARPA Net), a resilient communication resource.
