DiploFoundation is a member of the Civil Society Coordination Group (CSCG), and I (Ginger) represent Diplo (you) in this group.
We have been asked for input into the selection of Civil Society representatives for the closing session of the IGF2014 in Istanbul. The time is short: recommendations must be made by 23:00 UTC Thursday August 21, after which the CSWG will select candidates to be submitted to the IGF Secretariat.

Last year in Bali the generosity and good will of the Diplo alumnae was really touching to see. In spite of the fact that none of us had funding from Diplo everyone rallied round to help.
This year I'm lucky enough to have funding to go to Istanbul, and I'm hoping that the same spirit will be there again among all of us who will be present in situ.
