Stop the presses! No consensus at NetMundial!

We could see it as a victory for those advocating changes and adjustments in the system of internet governance.  Au contraire… we could consider it as the debacle of the good intentions… all ending up in not knowing if it was worth it.

I say and maintain, that the effort and the earned contributions were worth.  The final result is that ICANN should be strengthened to recognize his merits and achievements, not underestimate what this organization has accomplished in fifteen…

What does your country/language group know about NETmundial?

I've just spent two long, tiring (my eyes are nearly worn out) but interesting days following the NETmundial meeting in Brazil. Thank you Marilia and all of the rest of the remote participation team for so efficiently making this possible.

Dhaka, April 19:  Hasanul Haq Inu, MP, Information Minister, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh  will join a global meeting on the future of the Internet Governance (NETmundial)  Sao Paulo, Brazil organized by The Brazilian Internet Steering Committee of Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil and 1Net forum from 23 -24 April, 2014.

Watching NETmundial -- Blog posts to data-mining

Are you following the preparatory process for the upcoming NETmundial meeting in Brazil? It is a very interesting example of 'stakeholder' (attempted multistakeholder) interaction.
