Profile Information

Did you take the Internet Governance Capacity Building Programme - IGCBP from DiploFoundation? If so, in which year? Who was tutoring you?
2008, Ulemu Nyasulu
Where did you ¨discover¨ this Community portal?
Through IGCBP talk
What are you currently doing today and projects you have related to Internet governance?
I wouldn't say there is anything directly related to Internet Governance yet. I am busy working on other journalistic assignments at the radio station. Otherwise I did an academic study on the Internet as a Journalistic Tool (see http://www.magj.se/pdf/Victor Kaonga.pdf)
In which ways the capacity building provided by Diplo has helped you and your community in Internet governance issues? (Question only for IGCBP Alumni)
It has helped me appreciate the complexity of IG both at local and international level. It has exposed to real issues that my country is grappling with or indeed issues it is supposed to grapple with. At the same time, IG has equipped me with knowledge that helps me intelligently (I think) look at IG issues as a journalist in a developing country.
