In short, through my readings, i have two findings: advocacy is present everywhere, specially in Internet Governance; checkout this:
An Introduction to Effective Social Media Integration. This guide offers us a brief introduction to how to use cross-posting for online advocacy campaign. It reviews different web 2.0 tools, showcasing successful examples where cross-posting has been used for advocacy. The guide also includes the pros and cons of the cross-posting technique. (see attached: crossposting.pdf)

As well as Activism:
The DigiActive Guide to Twitter for Activism by Andreas Jungherr (see attached: digiactive_twitter_guide_v1-0.pdf)
