I think that Majority of the people of the world are not represented, yes this is true... but we can say it in another words like: there is a huge number of people are using the internet and they can be so effective in planning and designing the future of the internet but they are not involved in this process. Even they don’t know about what is the meaning of IG and the benefits they can gain through been involved in such a program not just for themselves but even for the coming generations in their countries. We need to work more and more in spreading the IG culture all over the world and within our countries. By this I think we can set a solid base for any IG project.
Interesting views, Ashraf - how do you think that awareness and interest can be raised in your local community and country, for example? Do you have success cases to share?

In my country Philippines, while the people are represented in the national level in Congress by the elected congressmen and senators and in the local level by the municipal or city councilors, which are the local legislators, but in totality the majority of the Filipino people are not well represented, particularly those in the underprivileged sector. Even with the advent of NGOs that attend and assist to the needs of the poor or underprivileged sector the assistance is limited because of lack of logistics. Simply because most of the so-called representatives of the people are more concerned of their own welfare than the majority's. How should we correct this imbalance? I believe FREE Education for everyone is the key to this malady.
