LinuxDays will take place during 3 days (from June 3rd to June 5th 2009) at the Varembé Conference Center in Geneva.
This year, there will be 4 tracks, with the following themes :
* Public Administrations (June 4-5)
* Education (June 3rd)
* Open For Business (June 3-5)
* Grid solutions (June 5th)
Other activities are planned:
Topics will be highlighted during the presentations and will be followed by workshops − the presentations will therefore be intented to introduce the workshops.
The themes will be chosen by the sponsors and partners, but workshops will be organised in a "community" fashion − through an online forum which will be conducted by partners, sponsors and main speakers.
The presentations will be managed by this community which will be able to decide on the themes that will be discussed during the workshops.
Round tables will follow each topic, during which it will be possible to ask questions and to participate to the discussion.
Moreover, the preparation of the event will be focused on cooperation between sponsors and speakers. A communication campaign will encourage contacts between the press, the speakers, sponsors and exhibitors' representatives.
The target are CIOs, CFOs, project managers and other decidors.
