hi charity - i have just seen your interesting question (from late december :( sorry for not replying i didnt see it - could you post the question to the community by sending it to our mailing list? thanks!
Hi Cha, ISOC.PH just rejuvenated. If you can see in the www.isoc.ph, I'm there now as part of the board. We just had the nomination and election of officers among members who wish to rejuvenate it. You can email rejuvenate@isoc.ph for membership. It would be good to have you in. :)
No problem... you seem very busy there. I'm proud that you're with Diplo now carrying our flag. Hope others can make well too. My experience was not good during the second phase of our Diplo IGCBP unfortunately. The group was not able to deliver as expected. I got pulled in the process. Anyway... would be good to participate again in the discussion.
Hey charity, thanks for your comment and Happy New Year! You have a lot of things going on in your page. :) I hope 2009 will be another blessed year for you.
Regarding your inquiry, PSITE has chapters in every region. What region do you belong? It is open to all IT educators/enthusiasts. There are two types of membership. Individual at P500/year and Institutional at P2000/year. The national convention is set this February in Dakak. It will be a good opportunity to become a member. Current PSITE president is Dr. Jimmy Caro and secretary is Gracie Tyler. You can reach her at graceftyler_spcf@yahoo.com. She can help direct you to the proper PSITE chapter. Good Luck!
hey cha - tks for sharing the intl media studies deadline! very interesting.
if you leave the event as it is, tomorrow it will disappear from the listing (though it will still be in the database) - I would suggest that you edit it, putting the event with the date of the deadline for the applications
I looked at the KFC at the airport but opted for the Hard Rock cafe cos they had chairs and a table. I commented on this at the kiosk asking for feedback about the Airport. Glad we were able to share time together after the forum. Wish I'd had more money when we were shopping. C'est la vie.
Hi there. I looked at the KFC but their drink machine wasn't working and I didn't think that I could eat the meal without a drink, so I opted for a burger and a drink at a comfortable table at the Hard Rock cafe. It was very nice. I spent a bit on my card at the shops though. Interestingly although I had to wait for nearly 3 hours for the flight the time went by quite quickly. Did you fill in the questionnaire at the kiosk? I did. Told them that the chairs weren't comfortable to sit on for 3 hours and there weren't enough tables to work on a computer if you were trying to get some work done. But the toilets were clean and tidy (had something positive to say too!) Glad we were able to find some free time together. I enjoyed our shopping spree. Wish I'd had more money.

Hello Charity!! It was so nice to meet you last week!! Indeed I left on 6th just after the Diplo Negotiation Simulations...sorry for not saying
goodbye :-)
Hi Charity it would be really good to be able to meet up with members of our initial Internet Governance group. You inspired us to continue. Who would have thought someone from my little Pacific Island would make it to the big Forum in Hyderabad. See you there.
Maureen
Hi Cha,
I thought you asked me to start a blog. I am not quite getting a clear idea of what you are doing regards the youth and IG at TIG and how you want me to contribute in it. Can you explain that a bit please as you might have known already that I am a member of TIG since 2004 and do not have any problem with managing my comments at this website.
We are doing two to three activities about the involvement of youth in Internet Governance including a workshop at the upcoming IGF. If you need the strategy document, it is available in the goolge groups files and also Vladimir can send it to you for uploading. Do let me know what exactly you want from me in this and I would be happy to contribute then.
Hi Charity! I got an idea - many people in the community have no idea what is TIG - do you think you can write a short blog post (like 2 paragraphs) explaining what it is about and how people can have a benefit out of that? Then you may also invite them to join our TIG group!

I would love to do that. Let me know more about it so that I can provide you with an input as soon as possible.
Best wishes.
Great work. I will be in touch with you.
