hello!Jean Paul! I am very happy to receive this message. But I am waiting for information about this studies.I will always be on top to receive you. Have a nice day!
Hii JP,
how is Mexico,
The IGF Burundi was a success I tell u,
The first day we were around 100 participants and my theme as well gave a view on IGF process where we discussed on issues and benefits we could gain from.
the discussions went to the level of discussing about ICANN function and we maintained the discussions at national level, all presentations were great and among participants ,were high Gvt representatives included some of Senate,Ministry of TPT ,etc...
Some recommendations have been drafted and will be posted to the ISOC website.
It was a great chanllenge also where we called political parties willing to win in 2010 to include in their propaganda an ICT and Internet access to all Burundians,
Hello Paul,
Just incase you are not aware national IGFs have started and this time around Burundi is included in the process! Victor Ciza is in charge of the discussions in Burundi. Hope you are in touch with him!
I wish you all the best Paul. However, I'm wondering how u r going too spread that video. A colleague of mine here also a Diplo student approached me with an idea like the one you doing with videos. He wanted to show case them in schools but I didn't know how to help him! What strategy do you intend to use? Perhaps I could learn a thing or two from that and share with him.
Sad to know that you weren't aware of the regional IGF but I guess it's bse Burundi has just been intergrated in the EAC. However at the EAIGF, it was agreed that the national IGF's will be yearly events. The EAIGF was supported by APC, the IGF secretariat, IDRC, Communications Commission of Kenya, to mention but a few. I'm sure you will find all the info on the website http://www.eaigf.or.ke/
The next EAIGF will be held in Tanzania. I'm sure u will be there!
