We've arrived at the Internet Governance Forum, and the Youth and Diplo booths are set up.
One of the main activities that Diplo fellows, and the youth team from Net Aman, will be taking part in here at the event is Social Reporting.
The Internet Governance Forum is
being Webcast, and many participants are remotely involved through the remote participation process, so the main streams of the conference are well covered. Social Reporting adds a new dimensions to this.
Social Reporting is about capturing the many different perspectives and views on the event - identifying the 'multiple knowledges' and different understandings of Internet Governance.
Over the next four days, the Social Reporting team will be blogging, using twitter, and creating video interviews to share views, insights, knowledge and ideas from around the IGF. Keep track of it all on the Diplo Internet Governance Forum blog here - and if you want to see the team cover particular themes, drop in a comment to this blog post - or reply to particular posts to invite the authors to explore different angles of IGF.
If you are at IGF09, you can join in using
our guide for social reporters.
