The registration will close on 31 May 2012 24:00 (CEST) We ask you to register now online as seats are limited and we can only guarantee free lunches and the participation at the Netnode social event, if you did register online in advance.   1. Joint European Commission / EuroDIG pre-event: The role of national IGFs

    We would like to invite you to the debate co-organised by the European Commission and EuroDIG on the role of national IGFs. The discussion will concern the challenges related to the functioning of national IGFs. Also, the discussion will concern the topics which should be promoted during IGF 2012. Please find the detailed programme here. Different experts from the countries of the Council of Europe region have been invited to participate in this debate. You are more than welcome to observe the discussion

  1. Call for volunteer remote moderators

    We will provide remote participation for people participating from their homes / offices in Europe and all over the world via audio, video and text. We are looking for interested and dedicated volunteers with good English communication skills, who could help moderate the online discussions on June 14-15. Volunteers are invited to join a training session scheduled for 12-13 June explaining the usage remote participation platform WebEx.

We have the pleasure to invite you to one of our webinar on "EuroDIG e-Participation (Remote Participation)". The session is for 45 minutes (followed by Q&A) and it includes:

  • e-Participation / Remote participation history
  • e-Participation / Remote participation concepts
  • Dynamics of e-Participation / Remote participation
  • Ways of e-Participating (individuals and hubs)
  • Alleviation of any technical concerns (best practices)
