"network neutrality is the principle that all Internet traffic should be treated equally". How far has this been achieved at the International level ? Is there a standardization framework which cuts across in this universe ? It appears to me that, every country be it developed or developing, each individual country has different government regulations and laws. Now, how the standardization/ harmonization as an objective can be achieved to ensure that the issues pertaining to data/ contents management is handled ethically without biasness and discriminations. I wonder if there will be solution without contradictions or controversy especially when one looks at the technological, social, economic and legal aspects in general. This is attributed by the fact that the people (Social media) / internet community advocate the freedom of expression/speech, technical personnel/ experts works on the cyberspace (cloud computing etc.) and cybercrimes while the telecomm companies/ Internet service providers concentrate on the profit making at the same time the individual government would like to see that regulations and laws are maintained such as human rights and well being of the citizen is protected. Any idea or explanation ?
