Please support literacy! It's a great cause to cut those barriers in employment through proper ICT education: http://www.slideshare.net/rustan108/rt-38-presentation-place-based

I am trying to stay warm in my office. We just moved to a new office so my classroom computers have not yet been set up and it's been a long week of moving. I just wrapped up the new curriculum I developed with our team n conjunction with the South Plains College Workforce Development (great partnership for college credit).  Our new classes will start this January.  With grant money in tow, we are offering free classes with a non-degree college credit. This will be exciting because the literacy courses include a lot of computer training support.  This will get a lot of people moving in terms of job skills, job preparation and career development.  We are integrating the utilization of the Internet for successful job search and we are teaching those in need of computer skills to get the right job in order to be self-sufficient.  Right now, I am finalizing the course catalog I am designing. So if you got the means to develop a workforce development program - please do. If you want to know more, my contact is in my slideshare presentation.

We got ice, sleet and snow! Hoping to leave early from work before the roads get really icy because I am not too thrilled about driving in this condition. Who would anyway? :)
