This is not about ICT, or the governance of the Internet. Nevertheless it deals with an issue frequently discussed in the Internet Governance field - how far domestic law can/should stretch.The link is to an article by Norman Girvan discussing the hasty re-location of a recent meeting held in Trinidad between the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) member states and Cuba. The article is from the viewpoint of the state/region which sees its legal space being trespassed into by another state. I would be interested to hear what other people think. Perhaps someone might even be able to help us to look at the picture from the opposite perspective?
