SUMMARY

The United Nations peacekeeping office today announced a new software application, created as a result of collaboration with the Government of Singapore, which will "help keep all entities updated in the unfortunate situation when colleagues in the field are killed, injured or fall ill, enabling Headquarters to respond with speed and efficiency,” Mr. Khare said.

On cyber extremism, Theresa May is planning to introduce huge regulations on the way the internet works, allowing the government to decide what is said online. Also, In the wake of the Manchester attack, the U.K. government is fast-tracking new laws to access encrypted messages. At G7 summit, British Prime Minister will urge internet companies to do more to remove extremist content. Furthemore, according to state news agency MENA, Egypt has blocked Al Jazeera's main website and 20 other publications, accusing them of supporting "terrorism and extremism"..
On fake news, Qatar said Wednesday its QNA news agency had been hacked by an "unknown entity" and had broadcast a false statement attributed to Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani on sensitive regional issues.
On e-commerce, India’s digital economy is expected to grow from the current $270 billion to around $1 trillion in the next 5-7 years, aided by the exponential growth witnessed in e-commerce.

On infrastructure, after Gabon, the African Union makes the CGIX Congo the second internet exchange point of Central Africa.

On event, we note LACNIC 27 meeting where the Latin American and Caribbean Internet Address Registry (LACNIC) signed a cooperation agreement with the Latin American and Caribbean Regional At-Large Organization (LACRALO) to work jointly on the programs driven by both organizations aimed at developing Internet infrastructure and services in the region. Le bureau des Nations Unies pour le maintien de la paix a annoncé une nouvelle application logicielle, créée à la suite d'une collaboration avec le gouvernement de Singapour, qui «permettra de maintenir toutes les entités à jour dans les situations malheureuses lorsque des collègues sur le terrain sont tués, blessés ou tombés malades pour répondre avec rapidité et efficacité ", a déclaré M. Khare.
En ce qui concerne l'extrémisme cybernétique, Theresa May envisage d'introduire d'énormes réglementations sur la façon dont Internet fonctionne, ce qui permet au gouvernement de décider ce qui se dit en ligne. En outre, dans le sillage de l'attaque de Manchester, le gouvernement U.K. veut mettre de nouvelles lois pour accéder aux messages chiffrés. Lors du sommet du G7, le Premier ministre britannique exhortera les entreprises d'Internet à faire plus pour supprimer les contenu extrémistes. En outre, selon l'agence de presse officielle MENA, l'Égypte a bloqué le principal site d'Al Jazira et 20 autres publications, les accusant de soutenir le «terrorisme et l'extrémisme».

Sur les fausses nouvelles, Qatar a déclaré mercredi que son agence de presse QNA avait été piratée par une "entité inconnue" et avait diffusé une fausse déclaration attribuée à Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani sur des questions régionales sensibles.

A propos du commerce électronique, l'économie numérique de l'Inde est attendue pour passer des 270 milliards de dollars actuels à environ 1 billion de dollars au cours des 5 à 7 prochaines années, grâce à la croissance exponentielle observée dans le commerce électronique.
