#igf10 Open Consultations remote participation

Here are the instructions to participate remotely:

1. Decide whether you want to have only audio or video as well. If your Internet speed is not fast or you have limitations on transmission, then it is better to use only audio.

Audio only - http://nubes.lscube.org/live?lid=3
Video and audio - http://nubes.lscube.org/live?lid=1

Note that it is recommended that VLC player version 1.0.5 or higher be used to view the webcast. A moderated chat function will be available for online discussion with the webcast.

It can be a little tricky to install the latest plugin. If you have difficulties, please write a comment on this blog post and we will try to help you.

This is how it should look like - special thanks to our Italian friends!

2. Make the best use of live transcription

Maybe you did not understand a few words? Use text to help you get engaged!

Live transcription of the proceedings is available in realtime both standalone and with the Webcast.

Remote participants are also encouraged to send email interventions to: may2010igfconsult@intgovforum.org

Ginger is acting as the facilitator and you can also reach her on Twitter via @eDiplomat or by following the #igf10 hashtag

4. Any other ideas?
