Evolution of IT as a distinct academic field of study

Dear bloggers,

I submiited an article below as part of my phase two assignment for my Doctorate Program in Information Technology at the Atlantic International University (AIU) in USA. The articles explores the philosophical evolution of computing and IT as disctinct field of study and I thought it would be of interest to the ICT fraternity. AIU has an open access policy that encourages wide sharing of information for learners. However, I would also like to have my articles published to contribute towards the requirements for the award of Doctorate of Arts in Information Technology and my future career development ambitions as well. Any suggestions  to this end will be highly very welcome. Here we go

John Bosco, apart from publishing the articles, having them quoted by other scholars/researchers does allow for  furthering the debate or issues you raise in any paper/publication. And ofcourse enhance visibility of the said papers.
