LAst week, someone told me without giving further explanations that there is a clear difference between "e-business" and "e-commerce". This was when i lunched the online debate that we are doing each week with my organization Rudi International through it's program called "Rudi for Women and Girls Online" on that topic.
I didnt think about it right when i posted the topic on our Facebook page with title "E-business or e-com, what can we say?"
Without using google, i thought he was right and here is what i thought right after (if i am wrong, please help me in comments to this post):
- E-business includes other aspects than only the online commerce (i don't have examples here lol)
- E-com is only dealing with the transactions between a seller and a buyer on the other hand using Internet to connect.
So, one can say that e-business includes e-com because the first includes a wide range of aspects but the last is only limitted to one aspect. I would love to hear more from you dear friends and maybe provide with useful links to better understand these two topics.
