Diplo Community input to selection of CS speaker for closing session of IGF 2014

Marilia Maciel 'She is very active on IG, she has very good communication with different components of CS community and she did a terrific job at Netmundial last April. Since NETmundial will be something floating around in this IGF, she would be a very appropriate person for giving one of the final speeches' (nominated by Raúl Echeberría).
Nabil Benamar I am an associate professor of computer networks in Morocco, and ISOC ambassador and returning ambassador to the previous editions of the IGF and panelist in the Arab-IGF. I am currently member of ISOC-Morocco and IPv6 task force. I have recently joined the task force for Arabic scripts IDNs. I have completed the e-learning course on Internet Governance with Diplo/ISOC in 2012. It will be my pleasure to speak on the name of Diplo community and thus represent the vast majority of Internet users: Civil society. I have been also fellow for ICANN and IETF this year.
Asama Abel Excel I am CEO of I-Vission International, NGL Fellow and member of ISOC Cameroon Chapter We are working on a project to promote net neutrality in Cameroon. I will like to share experience from this part of the world if granted the opportunity.
Carlos Raul Gutierrez I´m the ISOC Costa Rica Chapter Chair, also member of the GNSO Council in ICANN, and since I will be in Istanbul, if time allows would like to make use of the opportunity.
Shahid Uddin Akbar Since self nomination is allowed, I  will recommend myself for the event. I have long experience of working with Diplo foundation and professionally engaged in Internet oriented services. I represented ISOC and Diplo foundation in past in WSIS process. Also will be able to speak.
