* Proposal for a World Summit on Linguistic Diversity

Given the importance and role of language in all spheres of communication in
our daily life, it was proposed to organize a World Summit on Linguistic Diversity.

NB:Maaya - the World Network for Linguistic Diversity - is a multilateral network created to contribute to the enhancement and promotion of linguistic diversity worldwide.

The term 'maaya' in the Bambara language - language of West Africa - means 'humanitude'. The domain name is reserved for the Maaya Network, 'maayajo', resulting always in the Bambara language, "the reason, the cause of humanitude '.

Its headquarters is in Geneva, Switzerland.
