Call for MAG nominations and Diplo community involvement

In response to Ginger's invitation to post on nominations for the MAG, I would like to express my interest to continue serving as a MAG member in 2013.

Background and/or experience in IG (50 words):

Journalist, specialized in Local Development, with a Masters in Communications an Culture, I've participated actively in the WSIS and IGF processes. At Instituto Nupef I work informing, raising awareness and fostering the participation of civil society actors in ICT policies, collaborating to the strengthening of national and regional political processes focused on Internet Governance and ICTs and Human Rights.


Motivation and goals (50 words):

I'd like to continue contributing to taking Latin American perspectives and priorities to the global IGF process, working towards the shaping and development of the IGF in such a way that it includes voices from the Global South, especially defending Human Rights, gender equity, democratic principles and social justice as key criteria for the development of IG and Internet policies.
