Diplo Internet Governance Community

Stay networked. Get informed. Broadcast your projects.

IGF2010 has highlighted so many issues that are critical to the current status of the internet governance locally, regionally and globally, however it is sad for one who could not attend the forum due to financial reasons or an opportunity to still follow wide range issues. I decided to post this piece to ask if any one of us here has the knowledge as how to download the igf webcast achive.I wonder if there is...if not i supposed this could be helpful to many future igf activist from locations that have low internet connection speed to play and watch offline keenly the proceess of variuos igf issues discussed.I think people should have opportunities to download on DVD or CD for reuse purposes.

Thank you All

Hey Bakary

I've just been looking into how this might be possible. It seems the videos are being streamed so I've not found it easy to download a copy.

This is definitely something worth asking the Secretariat about - as I'd agree - getting copies of some of the session videos could be really valuable for sharing ideas about the issues IGF discussed.
