LACNIC meeting in Port of Spain, Trinidad July 16, 17

Hi everybody!

Will anyone besides Tracy Hackshaw, Sheba Mohamed and I be at the LACNIC meeting next week? We must have a Diplo get-together, of course! I arrive on Wednesday, the 15th, about noon, and will be staying at the Crowne Plaza, across the street from the conference venue.

Hope to see you there,
Best, Ginger

Conficker Worm

Conficker Worm is spreading and dangerous. I'm sure you are aware of it. Since one of the characteristics of the threat is that it blocks access to removal tools, you might want to download a copy of a removal tool ahead of time, even though your OS is patched and you have preventive tools. Internet Rights and Principles Survey

Max Senges, Prof. Capurro and Dr. Nageborn have started an exploratory survey on values on the Internet (as a first step to have some data to develop a research proposal).

If Internet Rights and Principles are important to you, this is a good way to have some input and share ideas. The survey is short, so please take a moment to fill it out. Tx.
