The imminent exhaustion of IPv4 addresses will affect the networks at different times, in contrast to the Y2K specific timing. It will affect many stakeholders, from Tier-1 backbone providers, large enterprises, governments and ISPs networks to the final user.

Conficker Worm

Conficker Worm is spreading and dangerous. I'm sure you are aware of it. Since one of the characteristics of the threat is that it blocks access to removal tools, you might want to download a copy of a removal tool ahead of time, even though your OS is patched and you have preventive tools.
