Urgent Request for URL on web page history

We say the Internet never forgets, and right this moment I hope that is true. One of our partners in the ACP Project, the Young Americas Business Trust Haiti (YABT Haiti) group has lost the content of its website. I know that there is a URL where it is possible to access any historical version of a web page. Could you please post it here, or email me at VirginiaP@diplomacy.edu with the URL? This will help a Haiti organization, our colleagues personally and professionally, to rebuild their site.… Continue

Cloud Computing: help requested

I have posted this to the Cloud Computing Group. But since you have not joined me in that group yet, I am posting my questions here too. Come on... isn't this important to you? It is very important to me...

I really would like to move to the cloud. It seems so very convenient.

Is it safe? What do I need to watch out for?

What are the best tools? Gmail? Google docs? What are YOU using?

What doesn't work?

I am using Gmail, although I hate the threaded index system. I am trying to get used to… Continue

Cloud Computing for ME (and YOU)

There is a lot of info here on Cloud Computing, but I would really like an active discussion on how to migrate safely to the Cloud. If I travel, if my laptop dies... or for many other reasons, I don't want to be tied to one computer ... can I migrate safely to the Cloud? Is anyone completely in the cloud (head in the clouds?). Please join the Cloud Computing group and join the discussion. Don't know about you, but I need perspective. Best, Ginger
