@Diplo Alumni -- join us on Facebook

Hello, everyone!I'd like to invite all of our Diplo alumni to join us on our new Diplo Alumni Group on Facebook if you haven't done so yet. This closed group allows us to network in a more informal, private meeting space that many of you are already familiar with (and if you need help, just let me know -- I'm happy to assist). Not only can we share updates and brainstorm new ideas, but we can meet in person at regional and global…See More

IGF open consultation and MAG meeting this week! Attend online -- register now

Great news! Registration for online participation is now available (and required) for the upcoming OC/MAG meeting, as a full meeting participant (online). Users who have already registered as on-site participants must re-register as online participants to access the online system. I think it will be helpful to spread this information widely, so online participants are aware of the process. http://www.intgovforum.org/multilingual/The process…See More

Dear GInger, This time the link at the website worked! - I just wish to confirm that St. Kitts and Nevis still plans to set up an Internet Governance and ICT4D training. I will contact Mr. Vladimir Radunovic today as well. Regarding a Skype Meeting, this would be fine, however, the Internet connection here is not quite steady. Maybe we could initially discuss a time frame and funding through emal correspondance, and then follow up with a Skype meeting. I image the training should be something similar to the event in Tobago. I will just send this email through the Blog Post to see if it will work! - all the best from Ulla Hauer

Dear Ginger,
I just wish to let you know that I am stil here! - I am presently working to create a proposal for local training activities, where your service would be required. I will shortly be back to you on that.

Further, I think it would be great if the ICT4EDC Project could fund some SKN pindividuals to participate in the new Diplo Foundation Internet Governace courses. I will meet with Ms. Amicia Mussenden tomorrow, where we will also discuss this.

All the best,

Ulla

Dear Ginger (Virginia) Paque,
Thanks so much for your welcome and helpful information, which I will forward to the ICT4EDC Project stakeholders here at St. Kitts. I hope to work closely with the Diplo Foundation in future, especially on ICT and Internet Governance on behalf of the ICT4EDC Project.
All the best,
Ulla Hauer
PS: If you were at the WSIS in Geneva, I am sure we have met there. I was coordinating the Danish input both in relation to the official delegation and the open platform.
