Profile Information

Did you take the Internet Governance Capacity Building Programme - IGCBP from DiploFoundation? If so, in which year? Who was tutoring you?
Yes, I'm taking part to IGCBP09. My Tutor is Jean Paul Nkurunziza. I'm Part of Group B, Africa 2
Where did you ¨discover¨ this Community portal?
On Internet, on the Global Knowledge Partnership web site
What are you currently doing today and projects you have related to Internet governance?
I'm an IT professional Consultant, I install and secure information system for public and private companies. I also advise and help people and companies make the most of ICT, find solutions to reduce the digital divide and also to protect themselves in cyberspace.
My project is the establishment of a national or subregional forum for Internet governance to assist government in updating the legislation and respond to the lack of laws for resolving disputes on the Internet.
In which ways the capacity building provided by Diplo has helped you and your community in Internet governance issues? (Question only for IGCBP Alumni)
I have learned and I'm still learning enough from IGCBP provided by Diplo. It helped understand more the importance of Domain Names and the need of updating the traditional laws in the cyberspace.

Hello Victor,
