Gender mainstreaming in IPR is an important issue in India. I invite comments on the issue since rural women inventors are always neglected and ignored. How can we rectify gender bias?
Infringement of intellectual property rights over the Internet has grown to unprecedented levels and has impacted greatly many individuals and companies.
There was a discussion among our friends on IPR: IPRs must be made a compulsory subject in college law courses and in the Universities in India. I would like to invite comments from our members on this issue.
I am happy to join the IPR group. I am already undergoing the Advance Phase of the IGCBP, along with Fahd A. Batayneh, under Carolina. More discussions will follow in this Group.

Did you take the Internet Governance Capacity Building Programme - IGCBP from DiploFoundation? If so, in which year? Who was tutoring you?
2007 Veronica Cretu
What are you currently doing today and projects you have related to Internet governance?
I am still working for the UNDP Albania in charge of ICTD Projects. I am also involved in different research projects and initiatives in the country that are related to Internet expansion and utilization. In addition, I have participated to ICANN meetings on the past.
In which ways the capacity building provided by Diplo has helped you and your community in Internet governance issues? (Question only for IGCBP Alumni)
I can definitely say that the IG course has given me more in-depth and up-to-date knowledge for the IG issues and from that time one I have been involved in discussions and presentations in and outside the country where I have disseminated the information and knowledge received through the Diplo course.

Welcome, Sokol!
If my memory does not fail me, I guess I saw your name on the list of ICANN Studienkreis this year in Helsinki but unfortunately we did not see each other. In any case I am just about to finish adding all videos from the conference in the Group - would you like to join?
