Beckstrom Advocates Multi-Stakeholderism for One World, One Internet

ICANN CEO, Rod Beckstrom stressed the importance of a Multi-Stakeholder Model for Internet Governance at IGF11.



He expressed his delight at this year’s theme “ Internet as a Catalyst for Change,” and offered that the Multi-Stakeholder model was an important Catalyst for the Internet itself. He attributed it for the Advancement:

Wisdom from the Father

Vint Cerf (one of the Founding Fathers of the Internet) congratulated Sub Saharan Africa for rapid uptake of the Internet and Mobile Tech and offered some core concepts on the Internet at IGF11 Opening Session:
