IPv6 and Pakistan .. well what we did was floating a detail consultation paper to industry in order to take their feedback regarding IPv6 readiness. Moreover, we invited our universities to intiate research projects in IPv6 application development. We also supported them to submit their project proposal to National ICT R&D Fund Co so they could be granted necessary funding by Government. So far one project has been approved. This year i have started to work out with my industry to calculate estimated IPv4 depletion timeframe for Pakistan and comeup with necessary recommendations for IPv6 adoption. You are more than welcome if you require any help / support from me.
