Profile Information

Did you take the Internet Governance Capacity Building Programme - IGCBP from DiploFoundation? If so, in which year? Who was tutoring you?
Hopefully, very soon.
Where did you ¨discover¨ this Community portal?
Through internet research on internet governance issues.
What are you currently doing today and projects you have related to Internet governance?
I am a personal advocate for wide access to an open internet. I am also a technology professional who finds that these issues are becoming more relevant to the daily lives of individuals and businesses alike. I hope to learn a bit more from this community, and meet people with similar interests.

Article from The Guardian about Turkey protests over Internet Freedom

Turkish police crack down on internet freedom protest

No need to re-post the whole article, but I thought it would be interesting to share, for those who are not already aware of the event.  It is an interesting reflection on the direction policy is moving, and the media's interest in reporting it.
