Caribbean IG and ICT Policy Solutions

The Regional Focal Point for Internet Governance (IG) and ICT4D issues in the Caribbean. This group is an outcome of the ACP Tobago Capacity Building Session and is a space for the Caribbean community to share their IG issues and solutions.

What are you currently doing today and projects you have related to Internet governance?
I'm currently a 3rd Year DPhil student at the Science and Technology Policy Research Unit (SPRU) of the University of Sussex, in the UK. My thesis is building a case study of the discursive construction of ICT4D policy in Trinidad and Tobago during the period 1985 to 2010. Prior to commencing the DPhil programme, I completed an MSc in Public Policies for Science, Technology and Innovation at SPRU. Between 2005 and 2008 I worked as a Telecommunications Policy Analyst for the Ministry of Public Administration, the Government of Trinidad and Tobago department with responsibility for national ICT matters at the time.
