Did you take the Internet Governance Capacity Building Programme - IGCBP from DiploFoundation? If so, in which year? Who was tutoring you?
No
Where did you ¨discover¨ this Community portal?
Article about last ICANN experience
What are you currently doing today and projects you have related to Internet governance?
Developing InetPEX.com that is a project related to how the official goverment sites (5,200 aprox.) that use the gob.pe domain should be located in Peru and not in the "cloud" (by no security or economic reason, just becaus lack of govenamental directives).

Writing articles for Signal Telecom News, about the defense of the principles of the Internet, like the open internet based on standard protocols. You can check article here: http://www.signalstelecomnews.com/index.php/component/content/artic...

I publish a blog and a curate a "news" portal dedicated to Internet governance issues.

Developing a project, named temporaly "The Preacher" to educate 1,200 subscribers (from the governamental bodies, from the top level to the municipal level) about the basics related about internet infraestructure, servers, routers, peering, IXPs, etc. The idea is that next year our goverment will develop a "fiber optic backbone" and there is a lack of education and capacity on the local governments for developing the "last mile" and reach the remote communities.
Please list the names of organizations you are a member of, including hyperlinks for more information when possible.
I was founding member of the GAC (Governamental Advisory Committe) of the ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) representing the government of my country (Peru).

I think my signature will explain were I come from, what I do and what I am intended to do in the very next future. Thanks!

'Wheeler said that peering is "an issue that we are investigating, it's an issue we are very interested in, but it's not the issue here today." '…

2050: The Internet Odyssey. How we lost it and a way to get it back.

The Internet was replaced by a dual system created in 2014: a fiber optic network called "Net2Cash".  It has a speed of one hundred Petabits per second (equivalent to 100 million Gigabits per second or 100,000 million Megabits per second).  We no longer talk about Megabytes or Gigabytes because that is old school.  Nowadays a couple of Exabites store the content of all written by man, from books and newspapers to the Sumerian clay tablets; from Inca quipus and Egyptian hieroglyphs to all…

Stop the presses! No consensus at NetMundial!

We could see it as a victory for those advocating changes and adjustments in the system of internet governance.  Au contraire… we could consider it as the debacle of the good intentions… all ending up in not knowing if it was worth it.

I say and maintain, that the effort and the earned contributions were worth.  The final result is that ICANN should be strengthened to recognize his merits and achievements, not underestimate what this organization has accomplished in fifteen…
