Its Christmas for some, Kwanza for others, and the list goes on. Religions and various spiritual persuasions talk of spreading the common good to mankind minus the evils. Internet Governance also talks of extracting

the negatives then share the common good from ICTs to develop mankind. There is

some commonality in these thematic approaches and yet I do not see religions

represented as a stakeholder in the IG Forums. I consider…

UN Resolution on ICT4Development - agreed text

The resolution on ICTs for development was negotiated and an outcome text is ready for adoption on the next sitting of the UN General Assembly. I do not expect any further changes to it. I did not see any definitive language regarding management of critical internet resources which the IGF2010 also left at the same place it was before.

Multilingualism organised by EU

I attended part of the discussion on multilingualism and the sovereign right of language communities to internet content in their own languages.While everyone agreed that all language communities have a sovereign right to content in the languages that they are literate in, there are technicalities that present challenges.
