Did you take the Internet Governance Capacity Building Programme - IGCBP from DiploFoundation? If so, in which year? Who was tutoring you?
Yes i was awarded diplo scholarship to pursue 2010 online foundation course on internet governance for development,the advance phase with specialisation on cybersecurity issues and i'm looking forward soon to start the research phase.My Tutors includes Mr Emmanuel Edet and Marsha Guthrie of diplo education center

What are you currently doing today and projects you have related to Internet governance?
Currently i'm taking the internet governance capacity building programme from diplofoundation,i have completed the foundation phase and the advance phase now waiting to start the research phase in 4th October 2010.I have been involved in one to one discussion with people on daily basis about internet governance issues here in the Gambia.Plans are on the way to kick start mass public senstizations soon.
In which ways the capacity building provided by Diplo has helped you and your community in Internet governance issues? (Question only for IGCBP Alumni)
Personally i had little or no information on internet governance prior taking the internet governance course,it was out of curiosity i found myself surrounded with lots of genuine and interesting myriads of internet governance issues which require urgent attention and responds from local, regional and international levels.The diplofoundation made me to learn fundamental information on internet governance issues today.

The Internet Governance Forum 2010

IGF2010 has highlighted so many issues that are critical to the current status of the internet governance locally,regionally and globally,however it is sad for one who could not attend the forum due to financial reasons or an opportunity to still follow wide range issues. Unfortunately I've only been looking at archiving Twitter content from IGFs. As I understand the webcasting is dealt with by the UN Team - and so you would need to talk to them about whether archives can be downloaded / taken offline.

 

Sorry to not be able to help more. Are you at IGF this year? Happy to help track down people there who might be able to answer your questions if you've not managed to get an answer by then...
