Youth Participant at IGF11 in Nairobi. Dynamic member of the newly created DRC-IGF.

Program Manager of the "Rudi for Women and Girls Online" (www.facebook.com/r4wgo) organising weekly online chat with young girls through Facebook on ICT related topics. Online Security and COP Evangelist, etc.
In which ways the capacity building provided by Diplo has helped you and your community in Internet governance issues? (Question only for IGCBP Alumni)
This program helped me better understand concepts related to IG and get involved in IG initiatives and organizations around the world. I am able to start policy research on IG issues touching my region and make propositions to decision-makers.

I am now able to carry my own work with basic knowledge on IG issues, helping my community understand how they can better use ICT with less damages!

Consultation for policy making: insights from DRC

Here are some ideas I posted in last week chat transcripts (Diplo Policy Research-IGCBP12) and thought they would help for information. I would like to hear your thoughts.

In DRC, public consultation has never been done. In my opinion, I have never been consulted in anything regarding government’s policy. Consultation is almost done in traditional way, just few people. Regarding the laws, MPs are making them and discuss them in small groups…

E-business and e-commerce, is there a difference?

Two words...

LAst week, someone told me without giving further explanations that there is a clear difference between "e-business" and "e-commerce". This was when i lunched the online debate that we are doing each week with my organization Rudi International through it's program called "Rudi for Women and Girls Online" on that topic.
