It certainly seems so. I hadn´t the opportunity to work before with this kind of dinamics.I agree with Marilia when she says: "Would be great if we could organize it again".

Profile Information

Did you take the Internet Governance Capacity Building Programme - IGCBP from DiploFoundation? If so, in which year? Who was tutoring you?
Yes. 2008. Ginger Paque.
Where did you ¨discover¨ this Community portal?
I had the chance to meet Ginger personally in 2007 and other students from the 07 IGCBP. All of the reccomended Diplo.
What are you currently doing today and projects you have related to Internet governance?
I am a Lacralo (Latin American and Caribbean Regional At Large Organization) Chair at ICANN, as AGEIA DENSI Representative, participating there since 2006.

Since 2009 I'm member of the Policy Advisory Board in Dot Mobi.

I´m very interested in taking part of Internet Governance academic iniciatives and related forums (such as South Summer School of Internet Governance, Regional IGF Preparatory Meetings, etc). I'm also member of the Young Coalition of Internet Governance.
In which ways the capacity building provided by Diplo has helped you and your community in Internet governance issues? (Question only for IGCBP Alumni)
The knowledge, perspective and awareness that participating in IGCBP provides is hard to describe. It has been helpful for all my career.

It is too recent to name a specific contribution, but I can mention that, as Teacher in the "Law and Technology Diploma" in UBP University back home, I included an IG initial module and extended locally the Capacity Building Process / Outreach somehow.
