Did you take the Internet Governance Capacity Building Programme - IGCBP from DiploFoundation? If so, in which year? Who was tutoring you?
Where did you ¨discover¨ this Community portal?
I was invited through the ISOC community by Tracy Hackshaw
What are you currently doing today and projects you have related to Internet governance?
I´ve been working for serveral start-ups based on: user experience & social interaction, content sharing, the creation of several business models to protect and make the internet more profitable for the overall content creator while sharing knowlegdge with the different industries to prove there is no copyright infringment in the mind of the user and that there is a clear line between "pirate" and "fan". Also I´m in the final stages to launch a proyect in my region called "Responsable Digital" (spanish for Digital Responsible) where I´m interested in sharing a much more indepth knowledge on the Internet and its history and best practices to make it a better ecosystem, where in my country there has been a serious knowledge gap (about 10 years) and now we are dealing with the explotion of the digital revolution through social networks and as a result we have a very high percentage of unexperienced and vulnerable users of all types (private and public sectors).
In which ways the capacity building provided by Diplo has helped you and your community in Internet governance issues? (Question only for IGCBP Alumni)
It has greatly helped me to better understand the different ways I can address this for my region by sharing experiences with other members and by accessing the great amount of resources avaialable.
