Diplo Internet Governance Community

Stay networked. Get informed. Broadcast your projects.

I'm looking forward to being at this years IGF next week!

Whilst we've not got the same social reporting programme taking place this year, I'm still going to be working on keeping a social media aggregator going, and encouraging anyone who can to tweet, blog and even capture some video interviews about workshops and sessions.

You can find the Social Reporting guide from last year here.

If you tweet about a particular IGF workshop with the #igf11 tag, make sure you also include a workshop tag (e.g. #92 for workshop 92).

For anyone who would like to do video reporting I'll make sure there are one or two video cameras around to borrow

Remote participants are invited to take part in the social reporting too by writing blog posts about the sessions they have followed and posting those here on the Diplo Internet Governance website.

Thank you Tim! Are there particular IGF workshops you have in mind for which you may want reporters?
Hello Paul,

We were not planning on having any particular workshops we target for reporting this year: although I'm sure that some of the Diplo team will be able to identify particular workshops that will be really interesting.

Are there some workshops you are particularly interested in? Will you be in Nairobi or on Remote Participation?

All best wishes

Tim

Yes Tim, I will definitely be in Nairobi for the IGF and will be willing to blog and report about the workshops I will be participating. Best wishes also!
