hello all on my first day let us share this
"Despite the current emphasis on financial
sustainability, it is too early to determine sustainability
criteria for ICT projects. Although many such
projects use cost-recovery mechanisms, most do not
generate sufficient income for the project to operate
independently or to purchase new equipment".

Hello all
my first day in this space, let me share two links
My blog http://totalweb2.blogspot.com :focused on web 2 tools and evolution in the perspective of ICT4D

And the second link is about Elearning Africa hosted by Senegal, my countries.
Meeting the networking needs of the pan-African eLearning and distance education sector, the annual eLearning Africa conference is the key networking venue for practitioners and professionals from Africa and all over the world.

with the dawn of the hi-tech revolution, organizations capacity build in relevant areas to be able to contibute to the national agenda of development and Millennium development agenda. How can this be done? Knowledge managment training, useful ICT tool usage training, providing free, dependable access to the internet and media, and translation of some websites into local Vernaculars that will enable illeterate marketeers compete in the global arena of goods and services.
