Hi all,
I won't be able to attend the IGF meeting in Egypt also !
I hope to use remote participation !
It's sad I am going to miss the Diplo Team this year !

Ohh! Ginger, I will miss you there! You are also such as great personal and professional companion in this meetings! I will be sure to keep you posted on the ongoing stuff at the IGF.

Hi everyone,
I have just found out that I will not be able to attend the IGF2009 in person, but I will certainly be taking advantage of Remote Participation... I'll just put on a DVD of Egypt, eat some good Egyptian food, and be with you in spirit. Who else will be attending by RP? Please join the IGF2009 RP group. Teach us, give us ideas, join us! Best, Ginger

the aim is to have statements only?
Comment by Carolina Rossini on August 24, 2009 at 3:28pm
Ginger and Marilia, I have to agree with Ginger when she says "make statements and opine in the process"....And here I add my critic about the Dynamic Coalitions. I think these spaces should not just be "parallel forums of discussion" ... as they have been showing to be...but places to find consensus or disagreements among civil society groups and places where statements should be written for later reading in the joint final forum. I think we are missing the opportunity to really have "our voices heard".

Thank you Rudi for the wishes. Look forward to discuss the points raised by you during the meeting.

I would like to join with the voices of my Diplo friends in welcoming the exciting idea of the webinar to explore Egypt and acquiring the guidelines for IGF. Also it would be great to come across a different culture & society to permeate in our owns.

Its a great idea to learn about Egypt. I wish I had the time to physically see all those historical monuments. I believe the webinar will give much insight.
