Seiiti, I started a discussion about the essence of e-consultations in TIG and the recently-concluded e-consultation that I was involved in. I think I have explained a few things there as how I can also circulate the e-consultations within our community and hopefully get more input from our community. I am thinking more on the lines of expanding the discussions here.

Basically, TIG dwells on youth participation. I think there are several community members of Diplo who have great ideas as regards to involvement. Several youth reflected on how their opinions are not heard sometimes. I, for one, think that participation is still the key regardless of age (pertaining to "youth" definition). The e-consultations use the Internet as a platform to further the discussion, then solicit suggestions/recommendations that will be presented to the actual fora.

I remember the moderator of this recent e-consultation on ICPD asking for more recommendations since there were few responses. Wouldn't it be great to get more input? I don't think they would mind at all. :). But let me post here the different e-consultations that I have been involved with in the past and the URL link for the information. Maybe an idea, too, on how it is conducted. I hope that is okay? Please let me know if you have further questions.:)

Charity, can you explain to us what TIG is about and what is the benefit of people from Diplo IG community to join it? Thanks!
